Digital Carnival 2019: Fire
Client:
Cinevolution - Richmond World Festival
Tools:
Canon Rebel T7i, 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, stabilizer, Takstar SGC-598, Zoom H1n, Adobe Premiere
As the videographer and video editor, I was responsible for filming interviews and event footage taken place in the Digital Carnival area of Richmond World Festival. Then, I created various videos based on the client's needs.
PROMOTION
The promo video was created to showcase the exhibition space, the artists, and the people interacting with them. The video will be used by Cinevolution for promotion and encourage future artists and viewers to participate in new media activities.
ARTIST PRESENTATION
An artist made a special request for raw footage that can help him express his work in a presentation in London. Considering the importance of his presentation and the footage he will need, I created an edit that focuses on conveying the community context of his work.
VIDEO SAMPLE
During the planning and organization process with the client, the discussion of visual style came up. One suggestion was to have a dramatic style showcasing the mature themes of the featured artist's work. To help visualize the concept, I quickly recorded sample footage and created an edit. This helped the client imagine what future videos may look like using this type of style.
